Today we took a city tour of Singapore via Hippo bus and Duck Boat. Also included was the Singapore Flyer, the tallest observation wheel in the world. It was a HUGE day! Beginning with our Vietnam War era U.S. military "Duck" boat cruise on the river to the waterfront and drive around town in the civic district, on to our flight at the flyer after chinese lunch, then across the bridge to the Fullerton to pet the fish (who were not interested this time and we'll have to visit again sometime), and over to Mer-Lion Park. Then a bus ride to the Singapore Botanic Garden to experience the National Orchid Garden, and on home via Orchard Road one bus stop away. My feet were SORE! We still have more to go tomorrow on the "Heritage" Route of the bus tour that will take us to Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street, as well as Raffles Hotel! The boys can't wait for Henna tattoos in Little India! Their favorite today was the Flyer. It really was a great ride!
