Thailand with the Histands

My favorite picture of the trip to Krabi!

Our first dinner in Thailand was the best! Beautiful setting up on a hill over looking the sea. It was dark when we got there but still a wonderful place!

The boys posing with our coconuts!

I know Kelly dosen't agree but I think this is a beautiful picture of them!
We had such a great time traveling with them! They are super easy going and very adventerous with everything. Made my job simple!

The soft (or loud!) hum of the boat, warm breeze, gentle rocking and snug fit or the life vest did it for Kaelan. I'm still trying to figure out how to accomplish these things at home! That can't be my baby sleeping in the middle of the Andaman sea with no help from me!

Aaron and Kelly snorkling in the clear, green water.
I do need to tell you a little about the water and the weather quick. The temp was always above 90 with a humidity level about the same. They hadn't seen rain for 4 months and desperately needed it. The ocean and pool water was a good example of why. When we first walked into the ocean it was shocking! Travis and I have been in it before but this was so much hotter! I mean Hot! It was warmer than the air outside and we were miserably hot looking to the pool or sea for some refreshment but neither did it for us! It was a little better when we were out, away from the land snorkling but still not what we were hoping for!

We had some beautiful drinks in Thailand too!

Aaron and Kelly

This is how Kaelan snorkled!

Travis and Kaelan at Maya Bay.
This is the beach where "The Beach" was filmed with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Our speedboat.
We had this boat all to our selves for the day. It was perfect!

On our speed boat ride to Phi Phi we stopped in Pi Leh Bay.
This is a beautiful sea lagoon surrounded on all sides with high limestone cliffs.

Snorkling.
We stopped 3 times for snorkling and the first stop was at Bamboo Island where our guide and driver threw bread out to the fish so they would surround us! This is a great picture Aaron got of Kaelan and I tryihg not to get eaten alive!

My favorite fish!
I didn't think we would actually see any but when we stopped at Hin Klarng, which is an open sea reef where the most fish can be found in the area, we found them! I'm pretty sure we were all amazed by the clear, beautiful water at this reef. The best snorkling I have ever done!

The Histands in Singapore!

I miss them already! Seriously! K man kept going to their room saying "where" in sign language. He absolutely loved them both. They were so easy to have here. They did everything I told them to (made them do), ate everything, never tired and believed everything I said! How cool is that! What troopers.

They made it and we had a wonderful time showing them around this beautiful city. They are currently on the long flight back, excited to see their kids but we sure were glad they came to visit. Can't wait for our next trip...maybe with the kiddos!

Kelly and I made it on the cover of a Singapore fashion magazine!

She was a hit! They wouldn't stop taking pictures of her!

We had to have henna tattoos done while visiting Little India, even Aaron and Travis joined in the fun.
Yes, Kaelan did it too!

Foot Reflexology
I think we have tortured almost all of our guests with this Chinese rub down! They loved it...although Aaron was having a hard time walking the next day!

Yes we ate...and ate...and ate!
I think I need to fast for a few weeks now that their gone!

The luge and chair lift at Sentosa

Kaelan rode the luge with me which was great but I think Daddy almost had a heart attack with the chair lift ride back up the hill. It was pretty crazy...a 17 month old on a chair lift! What? That would never be allowed in the US! K man did great and sat really still but daddy had a death grip so I'm not sure K had much choice!

The lastest and greatest in swim lessons

Daddy and me Swim lessons have been going strong each Saturday. Coach Anne is now having the kids dive down to the BOTTOM of the pool to a toy they have dropped. This is the deepest Kaelan has gone so it won't be long before he makes it to the bottom!

Silly Baby!

A few of Kaelan's funny, strange new things!
He loves to lead us into our powder bath meowing! I know...it is strange! If you look at the picture below he is leading us to this green cat, which the Chinese call guard dogs. It started with him wanting to look at the cat, then he got brave and wanted to pet it, then kiss it. Now it has developed into looking out the window to our back patio area where Jonabelle lives and daddy taught him to drink out of the sink. Boy does he have us wrapped around his finger!

He loves shoes! He is constantly putting on any shoes he can find in the house. This just happens to be his favorite pair! He will probably hate me someday for posting this but I can't stop myself!

He always plays in the cabinet when we are working in the kitchen so as you can see we have had to move most of our food to higher shelves. As of last week, he decided playing in there was not enough. I heard him singing his night, night song and found him lying down on the second shelf! The adventure never ends with this little guy!

My Brithday!
All I wanted to do this year was dinner and a movie. So we had dinner at a Brazilian BBQ place and then headed up to our movie in GOLD CLASS! We saw Clash of the Titans in these cozy chairs with 5 star service! So much fun. Thanks Denton's and Unruh's for celebrating with me!

The first weekend in April was IBC's women's retreat at a beautiful resort in Johor, Malaysia. There were 100 ladies who attended and we had a wonderful time. It was my first time away from Kaelan over night but Travis did an awesome job, as expected!
