Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. March was a nice, relaxing, uneventful month! And we had some beautiful spring weather. The crocus and daffodil have come and mostly gone. Now the tulips and magnolia trees are in bloom. I love it here right now! It is a perfect time to be in Holland! So, of course, we have been spending a lot of time outside.
In the back yard.
K's favorite thing is to fill up his truck (Thanks Eli for the truck! K loves it!) with water and haul it to the garden to dump.
He also likes to haul his sister around!
The kids favorite thing lately is to have a picnic outside!
Colette is really good at exploring the backyard on her own. She still crawls so she is a huge mess afterwards but nothing a warm bath can't fix!
We also picnic at the table on some days!
We had a baby play for the international women's club at our house last week. It was 68F and turned out to be a lot of fun both inside and out.
Kaelan loved having all his friends at his house to play.
Over the weekend we went to the first Kermis (small carnival that moves from village to village all summer) of the season in a near by village. Kaelan is in between right now. The kiddie rides are a little boring but the bigger rides are a little too big!
The fun house. You can barely see K and Daddy at the top waving.
Coco was not big enough for anything but had a good time watching with Mommy.
| This was supposed to be Coco's ride but she is scared of animals and would not let me put her on this pony! So Kaelan got to ride and he was able to do it without a guide. Such a cowboy! |
We found a new park near our house we ride our bikes to. It is the best in town! We brought a picnic, of course!
Good fun in the sand!
